Calendar of Events

Our annual Open House will be held September 28 and 29 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. both days. Come and watch weaving and spinning demonstrations, tour the Weavers Studio, buy some hand woven items, and have snack with us! We are at 3843 South 48th, Suite 1, Lincoln. From the corner of 48th and Cooper follow the signs to the entrance at the back of the building. Come and check us out!

Inspired by Nature is a fiber art show presented by the Hand Weavers Guild of Lincoln at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Boulevard, Lincoln, October 1 – 31, 2013. The opening reception will be Friday, October 4, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Regular hours for the show will be 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The show will feature fiber art created by local weavers and spinners. A variety of awards will be presented, including a People’s Choice Award which will be voted on by all in attendance at the opening reception. Beginning Weaving Class will start October 12 and will run from 3:00 - 5:00 every Saturday for 8 weeks. Click here to go to the Southeast Community College registration page, and use the key word Weaving to register.

Guild dues of $30 are due in January each year. Studio use fees are also due in January ($150/year or $75 for 6 months or $15 monthly). For more information see the Membership Info tab above.
