2015 Insurance bill of $443 is due.

501C3 paperwork has been filed. It will take some time for the IRS to review
the application.

The Woolery has a rewards program that will give
us a little money back and we can apply for a grant once our 501C3 application
is approved.

We are continuing to free up some looms, there
is an end in sight.

Tapestry Workshop

Demonstrations and Sales
o
Ten Thousand Villages was a lot of fun – there
were more people this year than last.

We are no longer participating in Craft Sales
but please remember we do still have items for sale

Rug Show - Renew, Revise and Rekindle

Pieces to be completed by 9/15/15

Mary and Jan visited the Lux – We have some
reservations about the location.

The showroom is a 40x20 classroom on the 2nd
floor.
§
The classroom will be used for classes during
the display

We have some concerns about possible damage to
our display pieces.
§
There is no existing way to hang our pieces, we
can put holes in the wall but we will need to spackle and paint when the
exhibit is over.
§
We have asked if we can hang permanent hanging
rails that other exhibits can use. We have not gotten a response yet.
·
If they give permission for this we will address
the other concerns.
§
We will continue to look for new location.

classroom for the next month or so.

Cheryl will no longer be responsible for
building maintenance

Front door lock is an
interior lock and does not always work due to the weather.

Kristin Meyer is a
former weaving student. She will be
teaching a weaving class for 4th-6th graders next summer. She has asked if she could bring the students
to tour Studio for a field trip.

Joan emailed Kristin 2
times to let her know we are interested in participating in her class and give
her Linda’s contact information - Linda and Joan have not heard from her yet.

Studio Update
o
Guild
§
Will is planning on
finishing the classroom floor in June, we need to look at painting and sprucing
up the Studio.

having a June Guild meeting.

Possible field trip to Jan’s for a demonstration
of her computer controlled loom
·
Joan has an extra bulletin board; she will
install it by the bathroom to post items for sale.
