o   Total Net Worth:         See in-house minutes

·         We have collected $1,380 in Guild dues and $3,909 in Studio fees.
o   Membership renewal dues:  Guild - $35,  Studio - $180
·         2015 Insurance bill of $443 is due.
·         501C3 paperwork has been filed.  It will take some time for the IRS to review the application.
o   The Woolery has a rewards program that will give us a little money back and we can apply for a grant once our 501C3 application is approved.

                                                                                                                                             
Old Business
·         Overshot Project
o   We are continuing to free up some looms, there is an end in sight.

·         Tapestry Workshop
o   Reminder to finish up your project.

·         Demonstrations and Sales
o   Ten Thousand Villages was a lot of fun – there were more people this year than last.
o   We are no longer participating in Craft Sales but please remember we do still have items for sale
o   7/18-7/19 – Camp Creek Threshers, Waverly – Sat 8-5, Sun 8-5
§  Set up Sat at 8am
o   8/1-8/2 – Lancaster County Fair
o   8/8 – Seward County Fair, Seward
§  Linda has made contact but not heard back yet
o   Aug-Oct – Old Cheney Farmer’s Market
§  Linda has contacted them but they have not set dates yet.
o   9/19/15 – 9/20/15 - Annual Guild Sale / Open House
§  National Weaving Week is 10/5/15 – 10/10/15.  Due to classes that week we will move the open house to September.
·         Jan will make fliers
§  We discussed other sale options
·         4th Friday – Out of the Box
o   Cheryl will ask Will to talk with the Lincoln Artist Guild about “piggy backing” on their 4th Friday events
o   Sep – Prairie Hill Learning Center
§  No contact yet
o   Nov – Quilt Museum Sale
§  Sue will coordinate this event
o   Tails and Trails – Humane Society Fund Raiser
§  No contact yet

·         Rug Show - Renew, Revise and Rekindle
o   Pieces to be completed by 9/15/15
o   Mary and Jan visited the Lux – We have some reservations about the location.
§  The showroom is a 40x20 classroom on the 2nd floor.
§  The classroom will be used for classes during the display
·         We have some concerns about possible damage to our display pieces.
§  There is no existing way to hang our pieces, we can put holes in the wall but we will need to spackle and paint when the exhibit is over.
§  We have asked if we can hang permanent hanging rails that other exhibits can use. We have not gotten a response yet.
·         If they give permission for this we will address the other concerns.
§  We will continue to look for new location.

·         Printing
o   Directory
§  There is a draft copy on the table in the classroom for the next month or so.  Please read and legibly make any needed corrections. If there is someone on the list that shouldn’t be please X them out.

·         Studio Update
o   Cheryl will no longer be responsible for building maintenance
§  Theresa volunteered to take over this responsibility.  Thank you Theresa!
o   Landlord
§  Front door lock is an interior lock and does not always work due to the weather.
§  There are a couple lights that need the valance replaced
·         No update


New Business
·         Classes / Workshops / Programs
o   Spinning Class – 4/4/15 – 5/9/15 
§  $45 to SCC - $35 material fee
o   Spring advanced weaving class 102 – 3/21/15 – 5/9/15
§  Extended to 8 weeks
§  There are 4 students from former classes interested
o   Ukrainian egg workshop – 3/21/15
o   Theo Mormonn class – Oct
§  Limited to 9 students
§  Register by 7/1/15
o   Felting Workshop – TBA

·         Bright Lights Student Tour
o   Kristin Meyer is a former weaving student.  She will be teaching a weaving class for 4th-6th graders next summer.  She has asked if she could bring the students to tour Studio for a field trip. 
o   Joan emailed Kristin 2 times to let her know we are interested in participating in her class and give her Linda’s contact information - Linda and Joan have not heard from her yet.

·         Studio Update
o   Guild
§  Will is planning on finishing the classroom floor in June, we need to look at painting and sprucing up the Studio.

·         Discussed possibly having a June Guild meeting.
o   Possible field trip to Jan’s for a demonstration of her computer controlled loom

·         Joan has an extra bulletin board; she will install it by the bathroom to post items for sale.
