Inspired by Nature is a fiber art show presented by the Hand Weavers Guild of Lincoln at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Boulevard, Lincoln, October 1 – 31, 2013. The opening reception was Friday, October 4, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Regular hours for the show will be 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The show features fiber art created by local weavers and spinners. A variety of awards have been presented, including a People’s Choice Award which was voted on by all in attendance at the opening reception. Beginning Weaving Class started October 12 and will run from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Weaver's Studio every Saturday for 8 weeks. Click here to go to the Southeast Community College page, click on Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes, and use the key word Weaving to register.
Individual Guild dues of $30 (first year) or $35 (renewals) are due in January. Studio use fees are also due in January ($150/year or $75 for 6 months or $15 monthly). For more information see the Membership Info tab above.
