·         Any Guild member who wishes to take Beginning Weaving and Spinning Classes offered through SCC can take the class without paying SCC fees by not registering through SCC if space is available.

o   Will be meeting 1/21/17 at The Studio at 12:00 noon to discuss ideas and interpretation of the theme

§  Class will be offered through SCC
o   St Mary’s College has asked us to host a Basket Weaving Workshop at no cost to us.  We all agreed this would be a good opportunity for us but we have some questions:
§  What is the maximum number of students?
§  Will the workshop be held at The Studio or at The College?
§  How much prepping and time commitment is needed?
§  What is the schedule and is it flexible?
§  Joan emailed Dr. Chris Krampe (Director of Fine Arts) this week, no response yet.
o   Robyn Spady – Cutting Loose with Tied Weaves – 9/15/18 – 9/16/18
§  Cost – TBD
§  All 8 harness looms must be freed up by August 1st 2018, notices will be posted on these looms.

o   Joslyn Art Museum – They do not have an event for us to participate in this year, we         will check with them again for next year.
Old Business
·         Sale workshop to make items for our 3rd Annual Sale scheduled for Oct - 10/7/17
o   Cheryl to meet on 3/11/17 at 2 noon to discuss details
o   Must warp to participate
o   2-3 different project for variety
o   Workshops spread over a couple months
o   Spinning / Ridged Heddle to participate as well

·         Jan will put together post card invitations for the Open House / Sale
o   To Cheryl be Jan 31
·         Jan will also create a calendar for the brochure to be printed by March 1 

New Business 
·         Voices of Hope is having a silent auction.  Catherine found a piece from Studio sale items to donate if all are agreeable.   There were no objections.

·         Guild and Studio dues are due today.  Cheryl can run a credit/debit card if needed.
